I'm guessing that if I really thought about it, I could figure it out, but could you post the key ability for each skill? Also, I don't exactly understand what some skills do. Here they are: Dungeoneering, Endurance, Heal, and Nature.

Don't worry about heal, that's just knowledge of healing, and my character should take care of most of that, so unless it's a backup to Ea, I'd say skip heal and spend your skills on something else that'll be used a little more often. But that's just me.

Acrobatics - Dex Athletics - Str Dungeoneering- Wis Endurance- Con Heal- Wis Nature- Wis Perception- Wis Stealth- Dex
Dungeoneering is basically a knowledge check for dungeons. Caves, etc. It lets you find food, understand what moss means, etc.
Endurance is basically an extension of what a constitution check used to be. Running long distances, holding your breath, etc.
Heal is what Josh said. Basically it's more physical, bandages, medicines, etc- instead of divine power.
Nature is just like Dungeoneering, knowledge check, but instead of inside it's outside. Woods, fields, etc.

However, I want to warn anyone who reads this. I don't like to rely on knowledge checks- I like to see if the person themself can come up with an idea, and use the knowledge checks as last resorts to get hints and stuff.

OK, I'm picking Acrobatics, Dungeoneering, Perception, and Stealth. Nature is going to be the main skill, or whatever you call it.

Are these for the "Specialized" skills like in Saga for SW? Or are they the only skills I can use. Also, what other info will I need for my char? (Obviously other than name, I'm still working on that)

Yes, you can use other skills, but you are checks are going to be much much lower.
Also- it's not a main skill really. What it is is Ranger HAS to have either Nature or Dungeoneering- then it can have a combination of other skills.
One more thing- Although I'm leaving the ultimate decision up to you- I'd prefer you didn't choose dugeoneering unless you can specifically back it up with your character history. I mean you don't just get born into your life knowing how to survive in caves.

thats cool. Do they have any specefic name for the skills you select at the beginning, like in Saga? Also, I'll start working on my history+ reason for Dungeoneering. Probably, I'm going to take heal or athletics (currently leaning towards heal, you never know when backup healing comes in handy) if I don't take dungeneering....

Alright- well, there just kind of called your starter skills. I don't know or think there is a more technical term for them.
Also- if you're going to work on background, I haven't quite assigned it yet, but that's fine. A head start is good. However, stay within the perimeters I set up in the background posts (Beginnings, and The World) Other than that you have for the most part creative leave, HOWEVER, as DM I do have the right to make you change something. So- for background/personality I want a detailed summary using at least half a page, 12 point font, single spaced on word.

And too be honest, I'd prefer you did not choose Dungeoneering.
