I'm guessing that low light is in full color, at least in SW. I'm pretty sure darkvision is in black and white only, but I didn't check my sourcebook.

Both are correct- vision comes in three layers Normal- Basicall what we have, humans. Low-light- Like a cat almost, and in color. Dark-vision- Can see in complete darkness.

And great job on the stats Sarah- moving on. Alright- you can start thinking about a name- you're encouraged to come up with your own name. Half-elves usually have elf or human names so here are some sample names you can use for inspiration Human- Alain, Regdar, Mikal, Gwen, Luusi, Kat Elf- Aelar, Lucan, Peren, Varis, Keyleth, Mialee, Shava
Then comes alignment- This is your characters moral standing. There are two scales when it comes to determining alignment. Good and Evil, and Law and Chaos. Good characters help others in need, fight for causes that are just, etc. Evil look out for themselves, and usually go out of their way to cause harm. Lawful characters follow codes, or laws to succeed while chaotic characters prefer to do things on their own accord. For this game you have two choices- Chaotic Good- (Commonly knwon as the Robin Hood alignment.) And Good- (More law abiding, justice type)

I'm going with Chaotic Good. I know that for sure, but I have no idea on the name. So, I'll figure that out and get back to you. Unless we can move on without it?

Yes, a name is just something to think about as your crafting the rest of your character. I put it out there so you have time to think about it.

don't go back and change your alignment or anything, but just so you know if you ever play in another d&d campaign, there's also neutral, which can replace good/evil and/or chaos/law... just a little tidbit. tell me if i'm annoying/ confusing you.

Just a little confusing, but I think I get it for the most part. -nodnod- But actually, I have a little bit of a background/description for my character in mind already, and chaotic good works just fine. Thanks so much for helping me, though! I really appreciate it!

Alright, onto skills. These are different kind of actions that your character has had training in. Like in real life, in the game the more training you've had in something the more likely you are to be successful.
You automatically get training in the skill- Stealth, and Thievery.
You also get to choose four from this list. Acrobatics Athletics Bluff Insight Intimidate Perception Streetwise

Yeah, it'd be a good idea to just go ahead and define them all for me...
