Alright Josh- Give me a class and race. If you're unsure, give me some ideas, or I can give you some questions to narrow down your choices.

Alright, I believe that I wanted some kind of cleric, probably a dragonborn cleric.
Or a tiefling, but I don't know how well that would work out. I'd need a rulebook before I'd make that kind of a decision.

Alright, in fact- either would work. Both have +2 Charisma- and Clerics use a lot of Wisdom and Charisma. So, it depends-
Dragonborn- You'd be stronger (+2 Strength) You'd gain the ability dragonbreath which is self explanatory.
Tiefling- You'd be smarter (+2 Intelligence) And you'd gain the ability Infernal Wrath which allows you to channel deep rooted fury into some of your attacks.

Alright- we did a great deal of work on chat. Just remember to right up your small background and we'll work on powers, equipment, and tying up the loose ends later.

You're basically done Josh. I'll keep checking to see if I need anymore details- just get me the character background and we're good. We're in no hurry though! ( :

Greetings and good fortune to all who read this. Before leaving upon this trip, I figured it was wise to write down my story in case my companions and I fell in battle. It feels to me as though this is the right thing to do, since very few know my complete story.
My name is Ea. Just Ea. While it may be the human's custom to name their children after themselves, Tieflings do not share such a silly custom. Of course, Ea is the first thing that had come to my mind, but now I am already starting to ramble. Just give me a moment to recollect my thoughts, and I'll begin again.
My name is Ea. My exact age is unknown, but to my best knowledge I am 17 years old. I don't know who my parents are, as my only memories of them are hazy. Most of my life I've spent alone, finding shelter from friends and shelters that scatter the landscape of Raust'en. I am an orphan, an outcast. I've known more friendship from my friends then my family.
I lived off the streets for a few years, and began to meet my friends. With them I wasn't a stranger, or an outcast. I could be myself, and my friends didn't care that I was deformed. Oh yes, maybe I should talk about that too. A tiefling's horns usually come in when they hit their second growth spurt, around the age of nine or ten. When my horns came in, only the right horn came in properly. My left horn was small and deformed, never coming in properly. I only had it for three years as well. During that 4th year of my horns, the left horn came painfully off, ripped off by a gang of bullies who made it their sole purpose to make my life as miserable as possible.
My only respite during this period was the church. Fr. Willingham, a human, was the only one who truly took pity on me during this time period. Between the time spent running from bullies or spending with friends, I hung around the church, learning the power of faith from Fr. Willingham. The church gave me freedom. I finally realized how much I preferred learning from books and others over having the HONK beaten out of me. That's slightly beside the point, but it caused me to stay in the church more often than on the streets.
Finally the power of my faith was shown to me, and I became a fully initialized member of the church. My life changed at that point. I became more outward, more able to talk to others, even though I was a “freak”. Fr. Willingham and my faith changed my life completely.
Then came the oath. Along with the core group of my friends, we made an oath. We would see what was beyond this village. This village was the center of all my troubles. By making this oath I knew that one day there would be a time when I no longer had to worry about this village. I could leave behind my home and all the troubles that it had brought to me and could go off on my own. That is what we are doing now. We have brought together all of our belongings and are leaving, hopefully for good. I am burying this in the courtyard of the church, and the only person I am telling this about is Fr. Willingham. If I die I wish this to be spread around to anyone who needs to know.
Fr. Willingham: You were my first true father. Although I have never actually told you this, I considered you family, since you were closer than any other person I've ever known.
If you do not know who I am, know this: My name is Ea, and I will not be forgotten.

Can I comment here? Well, I am. Josh, I loved this! The last lines were so intense, and I really love the name Ea. He seems really interesting and like a character I would like...so, great job!
