I'M SUCH AN IDIOT I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT QUESTIONS TO ASK!!
...
Okay, so I have one (or two): Which races would go better with rogue? And can you give me a more detailed description of rogue, maybe?

Those are good questions- Alright- if you're talking technically- Halfling would be your best choice for rogue, but human, elf, and Eladrin would also work fairly well.
Also- what kind of description do you want. Do you want the actual, firm technical garble, and then have me explain the technical garble or would you just like a solid description?
Edit: Or both?

Hm... let's start with a solid description.

Rogue is a character class that is very handy within a group, and, as any class can be created for many different uses(meaning that one rogue is different than the other). However, generally, rogues have access to abilities that allow them to pick pockets, picklock doors, disarm traps, hide, sneak around, and escape easily. In combat- they focus on maneuvering around their enemies to attempt and gain advantages to perform deadly strikes. Rogues are quick, and versatile however they are usually lightly armored and can't take to many hits. Outside of combat- Rogues can have any personality you want. More common ones tend to devilish, boasting, and/or charismatic. However, maybe you are scarred mentall, and are therefore quiet or vengeful.

lol, I like the other kind of personality for rouges.... It makes me think of Josh. For the star wars RP I'm running, his character is exactly like that. like 10 knives hidden all over him, and he's scared of himself.... Sorry if i'm not suppoed to be writing here, but i just had to comment...

Drakmor, I don't mind the comment. =] I like other people's input on this.
TAYLOR, I'll need to think about my character's personality and background more... Is there anything more we can do without knowing that?

Yes- the big decision you need to make right now is your character class and race. Once we get past that there's a lot we can work on.

Can you tell me about a halfling rogue, a human rogue, elf rogue, and an Eladrin rogue? You know, the benefits and disadvantages of the combinations of each?
And which do you think would be...easier for a NOOB like me? =D

Well- a halfling rogue, or a human rogue would probably be easiest for you! But if you want the specific benefits of all the rogue combinations-
Hafling Rogues are quick (+2 to dexterity) and persuasive (+2 charisma) as well as being lucky, nimble, and bold.
Human Rogues are versatile, meaning they can be customized in several different ways that best work for you.
Elf Rogues are quick (+2 Dexterity), as well as being wise and perceptive (+2 wisdom). They are also very accurate, and have a good eye.
Eladrin Rogues are also quick (+2 dexterity) but are more intelligent (+2 Intelligence) They are also able to gain good positioning by using in inborn short range teleportation ability.

Hm. I'm leaning towards human, because it's something I know and understand (is that a stupid reason to want to pick them?). But I'm also liking the persuasiveness (+2 CHARISMA!) of the halfling. I don't know why.
