In order to keep things organized I'm incorporating some general rules for eveyone to follow.
1. Be Literate! It shouldn't be a problem for anyone on this site, and I don't care if you mistakenly place too for to, or thier for there. However, absolutely NO text speak. Violaters of that rule will be shot (Exception: In the Out of Character thread, and other like minded threads, LOL and the like is acceptable.)
2. Stay in Character! When playing in the game, do what you think your character would do even if YOU want to do otherwise. Let's say you expect a trap to be on the other side of the door, but you don't think your character would then your characters thoughts trump yours.
3. Be respectful! Don't call out on people's posts and call them stupid or the like. (unless of course it's in a joking manner) If YOUR CHARACTER would be mean to THIER CHARACTER in game that's understandable, but out of game please keep any criticism constructive.
4. Please attempt to post once a week. If you have good reason why you can't this rule can be broken.
5. Don't control another characters actions. In fact don't control anything but your own characters actions. When you swing your sword at someone you don't get too immediately say "I slash it across his torso spilling his blood on the floor." Instead you might say " I unsheathe my sword elegantly and attempt to impale him on it." I would then post the result of your attempt.
6. Be Mature! Yeah, I know a lot of you might want to make sexy puns and the stuff, and that's fine. Just keep it in the OOC forum. The content of this game is going to need even more maturity than the DnD 4e. Swearing, violence, and other mature themes will be present. Please be able to handle them, you have been warned.
