Hello everyone! I know I'm bombarding this site with new games and stuff, but I have all of these ideas and few places to put them. So just bear with me, pick and choose the ones you like, and enjoy! BLOODLESS SERENITY This is a new free-form role-playing game designed by yours truly! It is based in New York City. (don't worry if you don't know the layout of the Big Apple, just keep in mind some of the major landmarks, and make things up) I will NOT be DMing this, it is more in the style of writing 3rd person limited, couple paragraph posts. I will be doing something however that I have found to work out quite nicely in recent free form RP's. It's called an event post. Every so often I will make a post that will state the current status of the city, and any events going on. You can weave these events in to your story, or you may never come across them. As I was saying, it is based in the New York City that we know, except it is sheltering a few unknown secrets. Vampires have integrated themselves into society. They could be the local hobo lying in the gutter, or maybe the leader of profitable business. Whatever they are is up to you....but, a secret government agency, department 110101, otherwise known as the slayers, have genetically mutated humans into a new species known as the Genetitites. These Genetitites themselves are integrated into society, and then fulfill one sole purpose. Slay vampires. You will play a character in the angst-filled turmoil, be it Human, Vampire, or Genetitite. Have fun! More information on the genetitites, and vampires can be found in the next post (coming shortly) along with a character sheet. Please state if you are interested.

Sounds interesting, but again (as with the last one) it's time dependent. I'd love to do this, but I doubt I'll be able to.

I'd be able to do this. Post-by-post paragraph stuff is my kind of thing.
If I can do any role play that you have posted so far, it's this one. (:

I agree with Bri. Though I'm not quite sure I understand the format and how we will be posting, this one sounds the most interesting. Can't wait to hear more. =D

Alright, seeing we have enough interest base I'll continue. Here's a character sheet you will all need to fill out in order to play. I will also better define characteristics of Vampires, and Genetitites. Character Sheet Name- What your character goes by. Species- You have choice between Vampire, Genetitite, or Human. Humans are just like normal humans. Genetitites are genetically modified humans. Most of these people are survivors of covered up vampiric disasters with revenge on their minds. Snagged by the government, they are sent through a horribly painful modification stage, and then through grueling training exercises. They are physically stronger, although not insanely strong, and faster, reaching speeds of up to 35 miles per hour running. Also, they have the ability to hear other peoples heartbeats giving them indication of who is a vampire by there lack of one. Most Genetitites keep themselves separate from any social obligations, and usually work in jobs where they can apply the law and have access to resources such as guns and ammo. For example, police officers, national guard, etc. They are also immune to the vampiric disease, but they will die of course if they loose too much blood. Vampires are inhuman creatures who yearn for the taste of blood. Contrary to popular belief not all vampires are "evil." Each is distinct in it's own. One becomes a vampire when he shares blood with another vampire. This also creates somewhat of a bond between the vampire, and the newly created vampire. Vampires are also stronger than their human counterparts in more ways then one. Each Vampire is his own individual and may develop certain strengths which are magnified from their previous human life. Some may have alluring powers of speech, while others might be stronger than a Genetitite. Also, while all vampires may not be cruel, there is always the spontaneous bloodlust. A chance that a vampire may go berserk for the taste of blood. Vampires need blood to survive, but they do not need food, sleep, and they need not even breath. Apparent Age- If you're a human you can ignore this. Genetitites will actually appear older than they really are due to certain injected hormones, and a Vampire's apparent age was the age he was bitten at. Actual Age- How old they really are. Physical Appearance- Everyone looks to be their own individual but Vampires are usually paler, and Genetitites are usually muscularly built. History- The recounts of your characters past. The most distinct of these would be The Embrace for the vampire, when he is murdered and then brought back to undeath as a vampire, and The Modification for Genetitites, a hazy, pain filled time spent in numerous tanks with numerous injections. Personality- How the character behaves, and his or her ideals. The Mag ability- For vampires only. A mag ability is a special power that comes from magnified emotions or abilities from their previous life. The Intune- For Genetitites only. Genetitites become intune with one part of their body be it their heart, allowing them to control thier pulse for different uses, or maybe his leg allowing it to go to extraordinary strain. Alright, now you can all create characters. I will be leaving tomorrow for an entire week so you have lots of time. Please do not all be Genetitites. I will create a character when I get back, and then we shall start. Thank you everyone who joins!

I think I'm going to join- but don't count on it just yet!
I'm thinking of a character. I originally thought I wanted to be a vampire, but now that I've read what they are in this role play, I don't know because it just seems so unbelievably...cliche, and I usually avoid cliche like the plague. But I'm thinking up some character ideas still. I might actually do cliche, just because I never do.

i like how this roleplay is very controlled, like how 'what you are' is under a certain category with specific characteristics. i like this because you have to strive to make it your own under these kind of circumstances and i think i got something that i can bring to it thats individual and unique. i like having to create something thats different in such a controlled enviroment. makes ya think.
eh, i don't really like how that came out, but i'm trying to explain how i feel about it? lol
i have secondary characters -shrug-
when would we start and how often do we write...? basically, how do i 'play' or join? like for example: sign on at this time, and we'll be there every week at that time, and we have an order and you roll the dice every 3 turns..... like, explain it to me like that. give me an example on how this would go

-sigh- Taylor, now that you've posted the information I just have so many questions. And I need them to be answered for me to create my character. Too bad you're out of town. =[ But actually, I have a plan. ;] I just hope this dice roling doesn't mess that plan up. =O
And I was wondering if we can create minor characters, or characters that go along with our main one. And if we can, then would we be able to control them? I think this goes along with the npc, or pc thing, but I'm not quite sure. =/
